In today's quickly revolving landscape, there's no "special shortcut" to growing your business. However, you're not out of luck, as there are strategic procedures to accomplish the growth milestones for your business if you implement these 3 tips.

Tip #1: Make Social Media your best friend

Social media is a powerful tool to promote your business to a wide array of demographics in today's highly technological era. Instead of fearing social media, it’s best to get accustomed to it at an early stage and then determine ways to increase the exposure of your company. If your competitors are using social media, that would be a signal for you to also jump on board.

Tip #2: Provide customer experience, not customer service

Just like how Starbucks provides a full customer experience to its coffee-lovers from entering the coffee shop to drinking a Frappucino on their comfortable couches, small to medium sized businesses that seek growth should also follow suit. What value can you add to the customer’s purchasing process that could change their perception of your business from a ‘service’ to an ‘experience’?

Tip #3: Attend networking events

Network, network, and then network some more! We cannot stress this enough. At networking events and conferences, you’re putting yourself out there in the mix to connect with people in different industries and educational backgrounds. It would also be a great opportunity to obtain some referrals as well! You never know who you can be referred to that could catalyze the expansion of your business.
