Biography
​
Susan Floyd is the Vice President, Marketing & Strategic Alliances of Toronto Finance International (TFI), a public-private partnership whose mission is to drive the growth and competitiveness of Toronto's financial services industry and to establish Toronto’s prominence as a leading international financial centre.
Prior to joining TFI, Susan spent 12 years at CIBC where most recently she was the Director, Marketing Strategy. Susan also spent 10 years in various roles leading marketing initiatives for some of Canada’s most recognized brands in entertainment and financial services industries including Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver Film Festivals, Stratford Festival, Magna Entertainment, Business Development Bank of Canada and Visa Canada. In her spare time, Susan teaches Brand Management at University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies.
Susan is a past Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) Awards judge, member of the CMA Brand Strategy Council, award recipient of the CIBC XX Design Challenge for developing a new digital financial offering, and former Public Relations Chair of Women in Capital Markets.
She received her MBA from University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
